we need to assign Territory/Sales Rep based on Postcode. Just needs to be the first 2 letter of the code. I think I have resolved it by add sub rules as "starts with AB", "starts with AC" etc. Bit long winded as there are 121 Postcode areas but can't see any other way of doing it

Hi Sion Thanks for that info. Much appreciated Cheers, Dave

How can you control the text width in a Marketing template? Trying to align my header and footer images with the text. Looks OK in the template window but when they are received in outlook the text opens out to what I guess is the display width but the images remain with their fixed width
-
have you ticked "Available without login" for the image file in the Filing Cabinet?
-
Thanks for responding Lina I have done that and it appears to be a defect in that it won't filter by Attendee. I'll wait for a fix

i can confirm it doesn't install with Outlook 2007 and Windows 7 unless there is a trick that nobody has told me?

yes but it doesn't retain them either. admin rights issue on pc again i think. got it to work on another pc by giving user domain admin rights, installing client, logging in then removing the rights. didn't work for this user though
-
user needs domain or local machine admin rights to add the add-in. once it's there, you can remove the rights

i have a similar problem. have a custom field on the Financial tab of the Customer called Payment Type. When I create an invoice Body field called Payment Type, the corresponding field on the Customer Record isn't in the Source list. What am I doing wrong?
-
Duh - yes, missed the Entity source the first time. Works fine. Sorry to waste your time. thanks

Called Support. They say I need to buy an Advanced ??? Module. Can't remember what it was as it involves spending money! :(
-
No, this just shows IDs in Views/Reports. What I need is the ID field when adding custom entity fields
-
i think it's Advanced Site Customisation he said i needed
-
yes - that's good. thanks
-
great. Knew it had to be somewhere - thanks. Turned it on but still they don't appear (setup-customisation-entity fields-new). could be a caching prob. I'll try it again later. Thanks for your help
-
yes and yes. may be an issue with the International version. have use of a uk version (training) and that is OK. Thanks for your help. i'll try a call to support

No just a col with #

yes, we use Searches like that for other people but he is out and about a lot so pushing to him via a targeted email in the short term is a better approach. When the volumes increase, an emailed search will be a better solution, as you suggest. Thanks for these ideas - very useful to get feedback like yours
-
good idea. I managed to get my script working that emails the Sales Director when there is a SO waiting to be Approved (has the URL of the SO in the body of the email)
-
Thanks - is the field called 'status' that has A and B in it?

Hi Yan I have a similar issue and I tried your suggestion:- var emailbody = nlapiloadfile(8800); nlapiSendEmail(nlapiGetUser(), 'me@domain.com', 'TEST', emailbody , null, null, null); but i get an Object expected error from the loadfile command var emailbody = nlapiLoadFile(8800); 8800 is the ID of a text file in the F/C…
-

-
Object doesn't support this property or method code: 0
-
no, using L copied straight from the dev guide - its example was: var newAttachment = nlapiLoadFile(67); should it be lowercase?
-
tried that but it's this: var emailbody = nlapiLoadFile(8800); that is failing
