Ok this is case #691688 I think the culprit may be the <NLCOMPANYNAME> tag not pulling from the contact record correctly. (it's not one of the options when using the email template editor, but I used it anyway to capture the company name and it worked fine when sending directly from the contact record) I'm not sure how to…

Beautiful! Thanks Evan, I look forward to the formula helper window!

Yang, thanks for coaching me through this struggle! For the moment, now I don't even care about the scrolling or the buttons or anything, I would just love to see this form submit. I asked a technical guy to take a look and he had the following assessment: --A javascript error is occuring. The error occurs when the live…

Yang, Here's the link to the form. https://forms.netsuite.com/app/site/crm/externalleadpage.nl?compid=515488&formid=155&h=980a94eddbfa27e5d3b7 I haven't added any of the images to our file cabinet yet which is why all of those are broken. The other things that don't look right: 1. Font formats and background colors didn't…

Yang--I can't believe you're still putting up with me! Yes, all those NLFORM tags are there, and I seem to have isolated the problem: the submit button. When I put the submit button anywhere else on the page, it submits just fine. But when I put it below that scrolling text box at the very bottom of the page, the submit…

Yang-- Thanks for the replies. So do you think this is something I can hack through on my own? What I think you are saying is that I should load those scripts and stylesheets into our netsuite file cabinet and then go through the HTML and reference the netsuite links. Is this the right track? Or do you recommend I try my…

So close! Those tags worked like a charm and the form is now displaying with no errors! Now the form just won't submit when I try to run a test entry through. It lets you click "I accept" but then just idles. Is there anything I have to include in that button to make this happen? I've looked at our other custom forms and…

Yang, thanks so much for your guidance on this. If you try that link one more time, you'll see that I'm considerably closer. I got the images and styles to display properly, but decided that most of the content I had above the form was unneccessary. Looks like the Java is still giving me issues though. Has anyone deployed…

Never mind, logged back in and it works

Hey Guys, What was the outcome of the original post? I'm experiencing exactly the same issue at the moment. A custom trend graph that i have sitting on the customer dashboard needs to be refreshed before it can be viewed. Ross- I still have an open case on this. It's issue #125354. The issue record says it's release target…

I thought that maybe if I had that number sitting on the actual case record instead of the search calculating it, I might be able to trigger the alert when it reached a threshold, but it doesn't look like it's working. Oh well. Thanks for the responses.
-
Thanks, Evan. I'll look into escalation rules. If the e-mail alert is only triggered when the record changes, do you see any problem with adding a custom "time elapsed" field with that same formula to the case forms and having the saved search filter on that?
-
If anyone is interested, I figured out kind of a workaround for that but have run into another problem. Here are my criteria: {lastmessagedate} - {createddate} = 0 --This ensures I'm only pulling cases that haven't been responded to yet. {today} - {lastmessagedate} --This essentially gets the time elapsed since that…

Yes we do, but this page would be separate from our main website, just a single isolated page that we can link to from other places.
-
We are also planning the opening of a "customer portal" with some complementary features as: - user group - document portal (sharepoint) - wiki - stay in touch (management of the contacts info's + process to get an opt-in) We intend to use Netsuite as single sign-on repository. Should be nice to create a forum around the…

We add the individual contacts as attendees when we create or log the event.
-
This makes sense, thank you, but let me clarify; the events I would like to track are online demonstrations that are attended by a sales rep from our company, and usually 2 or 3 contacts from a prospect company. The "attendee" field in the event search only returns the prospect company's name, not the contacts that…

Beautiful, thanks. I was wondering what triggered "date closed." This should work well for me from here on out. A followup question; The "CUSTOMER" status did not have any probability assigned to it until I joined the company so not all of the customers have a "date closed" associated with them. Is there a way to update…
