Marci - You most likely will have to file as a foreign entity in the State of NY. You most likely will need to collect and pay his State Income Tax, too, unless you have some other arrangement. We have a similar situation with an employee who works out of his home in another state. I utilized CT Corporation to do the…

No one has responded to you as yet?! This is one, of probably only two, answers I can give you. NS/PerQuest is not set up to print this information. I have created a template I print and then load into my printer as if it were letterhead. Fortunately we are a small company that allows me the "luxury" of time to do this.…

I experienced the same thing and presumed access would not be granted until the day of the seminar. Is it now necessary to file a case, too?

Paul - Have all features been enabled? :D

Hello, Meir. May I suggest you contact WebSite Publicity's Susan O'Neil? (Her profile is on LinkedIn.) We have utilized their services in the past with success. susan.oneil@websitepublicity.com

Hi, James. We utilize the third party premiere P/R through PerQuest that runs through NetSuite. I don't know if that will make a difference for you. I have had to reverse a singular check twice in the 1.5 years while utilizing P/R through NS. Both times were immediately done after the initial transmittal and I had to run…

Chris - I have a very stylized signature for my e-mails, inclusive of our logo which has been uploaded into NetSuite. I have posted the code below in an effort to help you create your own. You can obviously edit out my specific info and load yours. This is set up under Preferences from the Home page, User Profile,…

There are H U G E security implications here!

The things you mention, plus W-2's at the end of the year if you so choose, are what PerQuest Premier will do for you. You will need to set everything up in NS for your business including the accounts and the P/R items which is not always an easy task; dependent upon your state, city and federal tax obligations. You will…

NetSuite Monitors - Is this true? If so, why weren't we all notified? If this is correct it is very disappointing and a value-minus. :( :(

I, too, want the "quick" simplicity of point and click available. I, too, want to see the system memorize the way we each have our financials set up without having to recreate the wheel!

Since you are getting, "Field is read only" I wonder if the problem is within the (spreadsheet) file you are using in that it may be locked as a read only file or a cell within? Just a thought . . . Ellie

For too many reasons to list, but primarily from a state and federal compliance angle regarding employees versus temps and/or private contractors, I have set up a private contractor who came in to run P/R for us as a vendor with access. Of course, this required a "licensed space/user" as we are a small business user. I was…

MLC - There is a NetSuite Standard User Roles Table that lists the View (Job Title) and corresponding permissions. If you go to the help section of the NetSuite Access Overview there is a link to the permissions table. I have found this to be VERY helpful when setting up new EE's or customizing roles. Good luck - Ellie

Hello, Sue. I am not familiar with the 4-day training, but we did enroll in the Webinar NetSuite Implementation training sessions. We had already been utilizing NetSuite for approximately five months, therefore we were able to ask "educated" questions during the training and make specific requests for help in areas in…

Good morning. My experience has been the hold time on the Gold versus Silver is INFINITELY shorter, particularly for payroll questions. Sometimes my frustration, regardless of whether Gold or Silver, has been the language barrier in having to rephrase my questions sometimes as often as three times to make myself…
