We already had it set that way and I still don't see a column field called "Remove" like I do as administrator - is it called something different? Or???
-
Never mind, I found it - the Customer List permission had to be "Full" too. Thanks.

The formula from your earlier post and no it still says field not found even when just viewing an invoice and I've tried several different fields within the {} just to see if I could get anything to show up and still get the field not found message.
-
Sounds like we are about as close as we're gonna get as I've had all three fields checked to print before in the form customization with the Total box expanded in the PDF form customization and I will only get the non-zero fields to print. Management is OK with how I've got it now (they would still like the number…

Thanks, we are VERY close now, I've got it displaying now. The only issue I have left is that when it is zero it displays $.00 - can we modify the format code so it shows $0.00?
-
Are you able to do this, I was told it was an enhancement (#94328) from NetSuite?
-
I figured it out! Thanks for your help!
-
Can you be more specific of the exact steps to accomplish this (or if it's even possible - I had this same suggestion from another user and turns out he couldn't get it to work either)? I have been trying different variations of this and keep getting "ERROR: Field Not Found" no matter how I do it (even if I just choose the…

When I used your code, it just printed out the actual code except for the field itself which came back with the number (i.e., TO_CHAR(0.00,'L99G999D99’) is what is printing on the invoice). I'm typing it in in the "Element Text" when I have my Amount Due field highlighted. Do you know what I might be doing wrong?
-
Thanks - this was very helpful. I've been tinkering around with this for an hour or so now and turns out if I pull in the Amount Remaining field (same field that won't display if zero originally), it does show up if I pull it through custom elements. My only issue now is I don't see how to format the number with commas for…

Is there a certain way to concatenate the address so it will display correctly in the text box (so it knows when to start a new line)? I've tried all kinds of different things and it just does not show up quite right.
-
I am importing the fields for defaulting billing (= yes), default shipping (= yes), and label (= main) for all my address records and still have the problem.
-
Thanks Nick. I think you are overblowing my problem a little though. The data imports correctly to the correct fields (address 1, address 2, etc.) - my problem is that it does not update the field called address which I thought was supposed to pull from these fields ... unless, I go into the record itself and click on…
-
Thanks Nick, don't like the answer, but that makes sense with what is happening. Take care.

This functionality is IMPERATIVE to have for us as our customers addresses are changing constantly! I have submitted case #731683.

How can I tell if we have the advanced financials module? And what additional budgeting capabilities does this offer?
-
If you customize the Forecast by Item Summary Report to only include Transaction Type equal to SALESORD, I think that should get you pretty close to what you are looking for.
-
This does give me the invoices w/o any payments applied against them, but I want to see the payment history too for invoices that have had payments applied (what the Payment History by Invoice shows) - all on one report; there doesn't look to be a way to pull in payment history on this report.
-
We had this same problem and had to keep pestering our sales rep until we finally got them to fix it.
-
I have one left where we closed the line item not invoicing properly (so it's still there on the sales order and I can put it back in it's original state) and added lines to bill it correctly (essentially overstating the total on the sales order).
-
#717834. As a side note, we have figured out workarounds for all of these as we had to get our invoices out and have not been able to rely on NS support to call us back and/or resolve our problems, so the sales orders are not in the same state they were in when I originally logged this problem. I do know all the affected…
-
Yes, next period on that customer's billing schedule.
-
Already did, got a call back from NS support that I could barely understand, they spent about 5 minutes with me doing a webex and told me they'd have to call me back - that was yesterday at lunch. We'll see, but my confidence level is not high based on previous track record with NetSuite support.
-
For the others that I corrected, I switched from billing schedules that were using the "relative to previous" functionality to billing schedules that called out specific dates and that corrected them. For some reason, even this didn't work with this last one.
-
Can you outline the main steps to accomplish this, just to make sure I'm following? Thanks, Jim
-
Yes, an item group. An example for us would be where we invoice our customer for applications services and administrative services (two separate items) and we only want them to see one line for these on their invoice so they can relate it to their contract - we set up a grouped sales item that includes the two services…
-
I don't want to print the members in the item group (that's why we grouped them), but I do want the start and end dates on the group invoice line. I believe they are the revenue recognition start and end dates (which are the same for both of the items being grouped) - is this possible?
-
Thanks, I will give it a try. - Jim
