Thanks, J.J! I was pretty sure that was the case, but never hurts to ask. :o

Thanks, khultquist. I had never looked at the "Item On Any Line' criteria. Tried it, but I don't think it's what I'm after, as it's actually an attribute of the item that I need to test...if any item has the attribute "new", then I want all items returned. Also, I don't think the summary search will get me there, because I…

I need the same thing! Hopefully someone has a quick answer!

Awesome, thanks!!

Mike, I'm not familiar with sublist views, or the methodology that you describe. How are these sublist views created if not via a saved search (which brings me back to my original problem)?

Thanks, but I'm logged in as Administrator, so I have access to everything. Still can't find a way to get a simple list of emails that were sent to contacts by our sales reps within a given date range. Frustrating.

Thanks, Evan. Since I'm interested in emails sent to contacts, I started with a Contact search. I do see the Messages... field joins available, but I'm not getting the correct data. I'm only getting emails that were generated by our support team, and on top of that the records are duplicated numerous times. Guess I need to…

Worked with NetSuite on the error message. Apparently if you do a "Save and Run" you get the error, but if you just click "Save" there's no problem. So I got over that hurdle, and now I have a search that will return a list of all messages. However, I need to be able to limit the list to Authors who are sales reps, ideally…

Thanks, Mike. I'll take a look at that, but I would really like to do this as a saved search rather than a report. The guys want to have this information in a KPI portlet on their dashboards. But maybe I can get some kind of clues from what the report is doing.

Great idea, Peter! I've given it a shot and I've saved my new saved search, adding a criteria of Date within last business week. However, when I run it, I'm getting an error message....the old "An Unexpected Error has occurred..." message. I think I'm on the right track, though, so I'll continue down this path. Thanks for…

Have you tried doing a transaction search, and specify the transaction type "Opportunity" in the criteria? That works for me.

Sorry, Tomas, I still have the problem with the duplicate emails, and was never able to find a resolution.
-
The most common reason where I've seen this happen is when you're using values for the recipient from results and the specific recipients, NetSuite treats these two sections differently. So when you have your name technically appearing twice, you receive the email twice too. Though a long shot, examining the email headers…

Has there been any update on this issue? I need to be able to produce a report of our future billings for cash flow analysis, and am currently unable to do so. Any ideas, anyone? Zann

Cool, that worked! Thanks!!

Yes, it's been reported and we're working with the support manager to get it resolved. Very frustrating on a Monday morning!! I've been told it's Danish and not Swedish, but since I don't speak either, it's a mess!

Looks like a defect to me, same problem in Chrome Lovely... Thanks, I'll get a case opened up.
