I do not have a solution yet. They logged it as an enhancement to prevent duplicate email addresses from that script

Thanks for the response. Yes, the script it tied to the customer record. I talked to someone at NetSuite and the change password uses a backend user event script so they prevent customers from using their own user event scripts on it.

Thanks, that worked, although I am not sure why the initial method did not work. All fields would return except whether or not the record was inactive.

User error... the workflow was in testing mode.
