Description (Required):

In the Security Console when a User is Locked and made Inactive ( suspended), there is no field to capture the date when the user account was Locked and made inactive. In the per_users table also the end_date column is null.

So either provide a date field on the form or populate the end_date column in the per_users table.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

Audit requirement. Need to provide evidence as to when a User account was suspended(Locked and Inactive)

You can login to the underlying IDCS to confirm and provide proof that the user is inactivated.

Ours is a Saas product. We are creating users in the Fusion application via Security Console.

You can login to the OCI Console in which you provisioned FAW.

Navigate to Identity and Security -- > Federation.

Select the Fusion IDCS Strip and Click on the URL

This will take you to the Fusion IDCS Stripe where you can check the status of the user.

Hi Jeff, I have looked at the link provided. Yes, if Audit is enabled then my requirement will also get fulfilled.

The date when the changes are done will get captured.

Hi Jeff,

One thing to note is that the Audit data will be purged at some point in time(say after a year i.e.365 days) as per the retention policy. So a few years down the line the Suspended date of a particular user will not be available in the application/system.

Hence having a date field in the Security Console will be most helpful to obtain the Suspended date of any user account at any given point in time.

@Clyde - workflow history tables are being purged much more frequently than 365 days. Am not sure if the signon data is stored in the same place. We will have to look into that.

Every publicly traded company should be supporting this. Retention of workflow history should be driven by each company not by an arbitrary policy set by Oracle.

Hi Team,

This is a Requirement of SOX Audit also .We need to Provide the List of Oracle fusion Users with user Inactive date from Oracle Fusion. Per_Users table do not have End_date value even the User made Inactive and even Front end UI User Account screen do not have any date fields.

Infact the option was there in R12EBS wherein we can put an End Date for the User,But the same is not there in Oracle Fusion.

We will strongly insist Oracle to take up this as critical Requirement and do the needfull

Raised an SR 4-0000063819 User End Date / User In Activated Date (3-38651149051) , It is referec to ER.

I agree with @JAGADEESH DS . This is a SOX audit requirement. We have to provide the date the user was inactivated and we are not able to. The end_date field in per_users table is never populated. Can someone please provide an update on when this will be resolved? Thanks.
