Ess Job parameter does not allow to re-select the null value from drop down.

We have a requirement where user wants if he selects one value from the parameter drop down in Ess Job, he should be able to deselect the value with the null value.
But when we click on the null value, it is not getting selected.
We have to manually delete the selected value.
