Due to the design of some Subject Areas, sometimes we encounter issues with duplicate rows in reports. To avoid that, Oracle has given an option to use SET operations - but then there is a limitation that labels/texts cannot be translated into local language.
Oracle has informed that SET OPERATION result field/columns are considered as CUSTOM – and custom fields/labels are not possible to translate into local languages.
Because of this - translations to local languages of fields/columns in the OTBI reports which are designed using SET operations needs to be enhanced.
Use Case and Business Need
Our users use 6 different local languages and Oracle claims that this tool support local languages. It's important that analaysis shows in correct language of the user.
