Customer needs the ability to support role based data access with BI Publisher reports that contain custom SQL queries.  This is usually provided through special security access tables that are joined to the custom reporting SQL.  Should behave similarly to MOAC security views for Financials.

Use Case and Business Need

OTBI is incapable of supporting the customer's reporting needs, but would enforce role based data access.  To satisfy the reporting requirements, custom BI Publisher reports with custom data model SQL were developed - when leveraging this approach, role based data security is not enforced.  Some information maintained in Innovation Manage is considered sensitive and needs to be protected within reporting.
