Pay Balance Measure domain mapping in BIACM for OBIA 11.1.1.10.2

Question

Dear Experts,

I am configuring OBIA HR Analytics and I got stuck in HR Payroll where I need do mappings in BIACM for Payroll balkance measure. There are 140+ Source domain member to be mapped with around 40 Target domain members.

Client is not aware about the list of source domain members and they don't have idea how they can help me with  the mappings.

I have attached the Excel file where you can see the list of source and target domain members I need to map.

I humble request Experts to help me with this or advice me how to tackle this.

Hi,

You need functional resource here who can let you know what balances will come under what category of the target. Else, anyway balance details will be from PAY_DEFINED_BALANCES table, so check with client about the same or source system team on what balances will come under what category of the target. There is an option to sync to source as well but for some domain values, sync to source wont provide meaningful information.

Check if you can find any oracle document which explains this case. Parallelly after the full load, you can verify the report data and check with clients on any such domain mappings is needed for pay balance information or not. By looking at the report, they might get some idea on how they want to view the dashboard. Then accordingly mapping in BIACM can be done.

Can you please stop mentioning random people in your threads? It isn't the most polite way to do things ...

Never forget we aren't paid to be here and if/when we reply and try to support users and the community it's on our own free time (otherwise it's called consulting and come with an invoice someone has to pay).

So create your thread, ask your questions and people will eventually see it and reply if they want/can. That's how a community forum works.
