How do we set a default value for the DV Filters/Prompts when a user logs in ?

I do not recall this feature is enabled as of now.

A presentation Variable prompt cannot be used because , my use case is .
say I have Dim_Country as a dimension and The user needs to select any country and slice and dice his report , but when the user logs in by default the filter should show ‘India’ . Then while using the report , the filter should be changed to other values as required . Let’s say it’s a column prompt like obiee but default value to be added

Hi,
Not sure if you want to set it by user specific or you are looking for filter to be set for all users. One trick is to keep the filter value selected as "india"(as per your example) and save the project. The filters which you keep selected will remain until the filters are changed and someone save the project again. However, if it is a dynamic default value or user specific, we may need to look for alternate option.

Hi, You can try using "expression filter" and/or option "limit value By" to achieve this.
To add Expression filter : Click the filter bar menu or right-click, then select Add Expression Filter.
To add Limit Value by option: Click the filter Menu and hover the mouse pointer over the Limit Values By option to specify how the filter interacts with the other filters in the filter bar.
