Dear Team,
How to report on BIP Catalog Folders details like Roles and Permission etc.
Need to understand if any report or relevant table names available in Fusion HCM in order to extract list of all roles and permission associated with all the folder/subfolders/reports in BIP catalog.

Karthik,
I too would find value in being able to query this. So I’m hoping others respond who may know.
I think I discovered a workaround when I was looking at the services (https://bi-aufsn4x0<pod>.oracleoutsourcing.com/xmlpserver/services) for BI… It seems the ‘getObjectSecurityXML’ call in the security service (https://bi-aufsn4x0<pod>.oracleoutsourcing.com/xmlpserver/services/v2/SecurityService?wsdl) may work. However, it is only returning Role Permissions and not Catalog Group permissions for me. This would not satisfy my need, unfortunately, but may help with yours.
Cheers.

Yes Wade. It is not returning catalog permission. Still looking for solution, as i our organization we have huge number of BIP reports and each one having different set of permissions. So would like to find some way to extract this catalog permission to keep it documented atleast.

Yes same concern we have. I have checked with oracle, audit functionality on catalog permissions (ER) will be available in future release. I think it is ready and if required wit hstrong business justification, they can try to backport the functionality

We're on SAS and I am able to access the security service, query the model (getSecurityModel) and I get a response back, confirming all is well with SOAP.
HOWEVER, when calling getObjectSecurityXML, I get
<faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode>
<faultstring>oracle.xdo.webservice.exception.OperationFailedException: java.lang.NullPointerException</faultstring>I'm using the same user for adminUsername tag. Can you help?
