How to Migrate Only Web Catalog From OBIEE 11g to 12C

Hi,

Is there any process to migrate only Web Catalog from OBIEE 11g to 12C.

I know there is a process to migrate (Create bundle .jar file) the whole bundle which includes RPD, Catalog and security files etc but I don't want to migrate all those stuff.

Any suggestions are appreciated on this.

1.) The BAR file itself already allows you that fine control. You just need to set the right parameters:

2.) If you only want the catalog then you can also use the runcat.sh/.cmd command line directly.

Just remember one thing: 11g to 12c is a major version change, upgrade your catalog objects!

+100000 to Gianni. The fact that both BAR and runcat "transport" the catalog this will not safe you from looking at the object upgrade!
