You can meet your reporting requirements using the OTBI Subject Areas rather than Direct Database Requests.

Alternatively consider using BI Publisher to meet your reporting requirements.

Is there any reason behind this? We use this tool a lot for development to check/test our queries before turning them into a BI Publisher report, quite annoying.

The usual cloud strategy. "use what's there" - as in the models - rather than "develop your own". Controlled content. Controlled usage.

I have already created a SR for this issue and a Bug has also been created by Oracle for the same.
