Issue with deep link Functionality in OTBI Analyses

Summary:

We need a functionality within OTBI Analyses where we click on a particular graph of the analysis, it redirects to the SaaS Page which has particular set of records corresponding to the graph in the analysis.

Content (required):

Just as in the out of box SaaS instance, for e.g., when we navigate to procurement>purchase order, we land on the overview page where there are multiple dashboards with charts and other representations. When we click on any of the chart, it redirects to the concerned list of purchase orders. We need similar Functionality for our analysis.

We are trying to create an Analysis for PO to Receipt Cycle time which will provide an average PO to receipt Cycle scattered over different quarters for a Business Unit. The plotted bar graph for the analysis has quarter as X axis and average PO to receipt Cycle time as Y axis and Business Unit as the prompt. So, when we click on one of the bars of the graph for a particular quarter it should redirect to SaaS Page that shows the corresponding set of purchase orders for the corresponding quarter and Business unit.

We have already tried View deep links in the procurement area for our analysis and observed that View Deep links redirects to the Particular Purchase Order Concerned. However, our motive is to see all the records corresponding to a graph in the analysis just like out of box dashboards available for each Module.

Could you guide us on how to achieve the same using OTBI analysis and deeplink functionality.

    You may review product help center doc which contains the info on 'for which actions the deep link functionality is available'.

    Deep Link (Object Type, Action)

    @Raghavan p-Oracle

    We have already referred to this document but are motive behind the analysis is different. The deeplinks will take you to the corresponding SaaS page but it will not show the selected set of records pointing to that bar of the graph which we want to develop through our analysis.

    We want to develop a functionality which is same as the out of the box dashboards that appear when you open a work area in the SaaS Home Page where it shows all sorts of graphs such as pie chart for number of POs in draft/open/closed Status and when you click on one of the pie, it will redirect to Manage Purchase Orders and shows only selected set of records for the a particular status we clicked on.

    We want the same functionality built through our OTBI analysis

    @Palak Karma Please reach out to the Procurement community forum on Customer Connect or log an SR with Procurement support.

    The ability to drill to a specific range of values instead of a specific PO has to be afforded by the Deeplink itself. And based on the Procurement Deeplink documentation i have seen, i did not find any parameters suitable where you could pass a range of values from OTBI to open Manage Purchase Orders for a specific range of values.

    Thanks
