Unhiding hidden objects

Enable "show hidden items" option or disable "hidden" attribute

Use Case and Business Need

In the Properties > Attributes section for objects (files/folders), there is an option to set the object to hidden. This works as we tested this on a folder and are no longer able to see the folder in the catalog. The problem is there is no option to view hidden files/folders to un-hide the object and change its attributes.

The help documentation from the Catalog screen states a “show hidden items” option is available in the menu of the catalog screen, but there is no option like this on the catalog screen. How can we access hidden items or prevent them from being hidden?

Hi Steve,

Experienced same behavior in our zone as well. As a report developer or administrator, we should have a ability to view hidden folders/analysis.

Raghu - I do not see this option in our OBI zone. Could it be that we are on a different version of OBI zone? Check the screenshot.
