Provide special object Current Date as part of RPD in OBI Recruiting

Use Case and Business Need

 

In BO, we had a special objects folder which had "Current Date" object which used to populate localtimestamp.

In OBI Recruiting, we don't have any such object. But what we have is CURRENT_DATE function which only gives BI Server timestamp irrespective of the timezone where user is located. 

When such condition is required as a filter we are forced to use EVALUATE function but it degrades the performance and using CURRENT_DATE function gives incorrect results.

Please provide this object as part of RPD.

Are you asking a user Session variable Current Date that will pick up the user's local time?

Hi Ling,

In BO we have a dedicated object called as Current Date which is part of query, not sure technically how it can be implemented within OBI.

If session variable helps that would be great!
