Limitation in moving dashboards between the folders

Use Case and Business Need
Whenever a dashboard report has to be copied/moved between the folders, we are needed to manually map the links/indexes, as they refer to the source folder (folder where they are copied from). In case of multiple dashboards, it would really be a tedious task.
Infact, even after archiving the entire folder (including Dashboards, Analyses & Dashboard Prompts) and unarchiving it back into another root folder wont work.
If anyone of you have faced this problem, share your comments/thoughts so Oracle can find an easier solution for this issue.
