BIP - Export to Excel Not Just XML

Use Case and Business Need

This Export button exports an XML document, it would be great if this can export as an Excel file as well especially when we are in the table view page (XML view would be fine for the Tree view page). This will be a great enhancement for the users. We will not have to create a report if we just want to export the results to an excel file.

Also it would be better if there is an option to view all rows.. and download all rows instead of creating a template and running the report to get the o/p

Can you update the idea with this info too, so that it gains more traction and there is no need to create one more idea for this.

Looks like there was an option to download all rows till R8 and due to performance or some other issue they limited us to 200 rows only...

Please refer https://cloudcustomerconnect.oracle.com/posts/574ae67c18 for more info on this.

On downloading the rows into excel also, there was an answer that we can download the xml using export option and then  from Excel choose Open then select the xml file, select As an XML table in the Open XML pop-up dialog.

So, I think this idea wouldn't be taken up by the team for review :(
