We need full iframe support on OBIEE dashboards. Currently one can add a window with a static URL, but parameters are not supported and special characters in the URL are not supported. We would like to be able to create a dashboard that has OBIEE analyses as well as analyses from a 3rd party BI tool embedded on the same page to allow users to see both Engagement Cloud data and data from external systems such as an ERP. To do this, we need all of the functionality of "Mashup Content" in app composer available on the OBIEE dashboard object. 

Use Case and Business Need

We would like to increase the value Engagement Cloud brings to our users by making it a single point of access for all enterprise data relevant to our sales force. It is not practical to fully integrate with all of our external systems and most of our internal data is not available to the external web. As a result, we see embedding analyses from an internally located, 3rd party BI tool as the most expedient and easiest to maintain method of serving data from other systems to our users in Engagement Cloud. By connecting to VPN, users could see all relevant data from all systems on a single page.

While providing links to external content and mashup content on object pages is useful, there really isn't a good place to show something like "all of my invoiced sales from all ERPs" to users in a single report within the current objects. If we could show this on a dashboard page, we could also show this data alongside an analysis showing "my open opportunities," "my won opportunities," and "my sales goals for current fiscal year."
