1. Perform operation on same record with two different user, other user will get locked issue.

Hi Kamal, thanks for your posting. Object locking mechanism is part of common infrastructure. So I am moving this to right category. However, can you please describe more specifically what processes (UI, REST, Import), on what objects, you are seeing this issue. More description will help us understand the idea better.

I can't speak for Kamal, but this would help us a lot with a custom integration we have on the opportunity object. Users click an action link that opens a narrative analysis in OBI that kicks off an external process that updates the opportunity record. We have to have specific instructions for users on how / when they can save updates and it impacts user experience and causes issues with the integration.
