Access to BPM Tables for BIP reports / View Time Cards UI

Description

We need access to BPM tables in order to build BIP reports that contain timesheet approver information.  The UI does not contain the correct approver information, so this will need to be fixed, as well (screenshot attached).  Approvers can see the timesheets in history - previously we could see the data in the UI intermittently, but no longer can since 19C update.

Use Case and Business Need

Per SOX requirements, we need to be able to see who approved a timesheet in ERP.  Current reporting / UI would not pass an audit.

More details

The User Interface does not contain the correct information, and according to Oracle Developers, we cannot build BIP reports that contain this information because approver data is stored on BPM tables, which are not accessible to BIP reports.

We have three SRs that are open for this issue (please reference):

SR 3-21270274191 | SR 3-21045969674 | SR 3-20736814741 (UI)

Did you try using the schema fa_fusion_soainfra.wftaskhistory?

Yes - these efforts are detailed in SR 3-21045969674.  I would strongly recommend that you review each of the 3 SRs referenced here so that you have proper context.

    Hello Joshua

I just suggested what I did since I had a similar issue and as for the context I am not having access to this SR for whatever reason.

I apologize for commenting without proper context.

Dilip - I believe we need to have a conversation about what is needed here.  Can we set up a webex for tomorrow at 10am Central?  We are working with our Oracle offshore development team and they can best relay what is needed in that call.  Please confirm if that will work and I will forward webex details.

I have added the history for all three SRs.  In each case, we are blocked from writing reports or correcting the UI because of not having access to BPM tables.

Have the SRs been reviewed?  I would like to have a call discussing what we're looking for here.  I received a note that access to BPM tables may be coming with 20B release.  Please confirm/clarify.

Hello - I haven't heard back on this yet.  We are close to routing all 2020 Projects for approval and need to report on progress.  This is a SOX requirement for us, so please escalate this.

Please let us know if there is any way we can get to our approval data in the meantime.

    Hi Joshua,

This might be too little too late, but did you find this:

Access To SOA BPM Tables In BI Publisher (Doc ID 2275088.1)

    Hope this helps you.

I'm also looking for relevant OBIEE subject areas, as opposed to pulling from SQL. I cannot find them and there's also no idea yet, so I've created one: https://cloudcustomerconnect.oracle.com/posts/61a39a05d0

    Kind regards,
    Maarten
