Add an index to the Tree Code and configuring the Tree Name to filter by code to improve performance when filtering against the organizational hierarchy and user experience when filtering by Tree Name.
Use Case and Business Need
We have organized our departments into trees for business reporting and would like to use them for grouping business metrics and OTBI analyses.
- Having an index should increase performance.
- Filtering the Name by the Code value should improve the User Experience
More details
When we try to include or filter on the Organizational Tree all analyses slow to a crawl and essentially become unusable. This is preventing useful analytics from being developed in OTBI.
