We have a need for reporting based on metadata like values on our segments, e.g.:

FUND status, created/started date, end date
ACCOUNT posting enabled, status, created/started date

Currently the only way to expose this data (that I can find) is through BI Publisher. But we lose a lot of the flexibility and "ad hoc" requirements when we push this report to publisher.

Need these columns and others to be visible in OTBI.

 

 

 

Use Case and Business Need

Report all balances in FUNDS that were opened this month

Report all ZERO balances on open FUNDS as of X date

Report all accounts that were created after "this date"

Show all accounts even if posting is not enabled

 

 

More details

There HAS to be a way for us as the customer to decide what we want to see in our repository. I mean - this is a heavy use case for us but the reality is that we need to be empowered to open the SA to the underlying data that we need.  My last contract was on premise OBIEE and not having the repository access to really set this client up for success is an absolute nightmare.
