Metadata file which is extracted from UCM is different from the file which is extracted from Export Meta Data Definition(BICC) for the same data store.

Use Case and Business Need

Use Case:
Primary Key mapping in Metadata file which is extracted from Data store -> Export Meta Data Definition is different from the mdcsv file which is generated in UCM for Data Store - FscmTopModelAM.sourceDocLinesDFFBIAM.FLEX_BI_sourceDocLinesDFF_VI.
Steps to recreate:

1. Go to Manage Offerings and Data Stores -> Select Financial Offering -> Select FscmTopModelAM.sourceDocLinesDFFBIAM.FLEX_BI_sourceDocLinesDFF_VI -> Click Actions -> Export Metadata Definition-> Verify the Primary Key (s_k_5000)
2. Schedule an Immediate Job for FscmTopModelAM.sourceDocLinesDFFBIAM.FLEX_BI_sourceDocLinesDFF_VI having Enable for Extract and Extract Data Store Metadata set to true. Go to UCM find the file with mdcsv extension and check the Primary Key (ApplicationId) which is as per the configuration.

Business Need:
1.Time will be saved.
2.The storage space used in UCM can be reduced as we need not run the jobs to extract metadata files

Regardless of the extract source, Primary key should remain same in all the extracts. So as to avoid rework and delay, we need a reliable extract source (UCM/ BICC application) to pull mdcsv data and share with third party reporting.
