If everyone who visits this idea upvotes it, hopefully, that will speed things along. Looking forward to this feature in a future release soon! 3

How many years we have to wait to get this useful upgrade? 1

It's just ridiculous that I have to make a RTF template to get XLSX output, with al kinds of issues and challenges I have to find workarounds for, like empty lines if I want to dynamically create sheets in a for-each group and not being able to use defined names. While the Excel template only facilitates XLS. Please do something about this, thanks! 1

@Oracle product development team.. is this on your product roadmap at all? Are you ever going to make xlsx compatible with BI reports? 0

It seems Oracle just can't do it, as there is no response from any oracle development team member or product portfolio manager. 0

@Oracle product development team.. this will be really helpful, if we can have .xlsx template in BI 0

@Heather Hagedorn- Cloud HCM-Oracle There are several customers waiting for this upgrade and is there a reason why Oracle could not prioritize this? 0

I do not have input on this topic. So, I have forwarded your question on to the Product Manager that owns this functionality. Thanks Chris Borsh 0

Please Oracle - We need you to develop support for xlsx format.
This xls format constraint is very difficult for us to manage.
I am speaking as a team lead of data development of a bank and I have at least 3 cases I can provide that happened recently that this xls format made my team do all sorts of ugly workarounds.
This is mainly due to the 2^16 (65536) row limit.
 Please -this is very important.
Is there any plan to add this feature in the near future?1
