wow it has been 4 years and still not yet implemented? what is oracle doing xlsx is really needed for a reporting tool

Regarding the use of .rtf templates to work around this issue, as part of ongoing security hardening and compliance with CISA guidance in our internal environment, add-ins not digitally signed by a trusted publisher are now blocked. The MS Word BI Publisher add-in is not digitally signed, so we can no longer use it to create/update .rtf templates. A separate post addresses this:

So we cannot use the tool now too? oh no we have an upcoming project that has BI as part of the solution

The security hardening is specific to our local IT internal environment (not Oracle related). I just posted this as a note since CISA guidance is recommending implementation of the standards and this could impact folks who have rigorous compliance standards. When this standard was implemented in our environment, we could no longer see the Publisher add-in from MS Word and received an error that it was not signed when attempting to install it. If you have the Publisher add-in installed and can see it on the MS Word ribbon, then the add-in should be available for use. I'll defer to Oracle Support for any other information about the Publisher add-in.

I also want to upvote xlsx as Excel template. Our users are complaining and we don't understand why this is still not available?

Did Oracle ghave any plans to introduce Latest Excel template (.xlsx) for BI Publisher Report in future releases ?
If not, Need to recommend oracle to provide resolution for future releases.0
