Description

A GL segment related hierarchy can have multiple date effective versions. All these versions are available within SmartView. In certain cases around allocations, it is easier to manage one tree with different versions when you have several rollups. Otherwise, for every single rollup you have to create a base and current version which results in excess maintenance

However in OTBI, the hierarchy version that is active within the current date is visible. This is inconsistent behavior and causes severe reporting limitations

It is for ease maintenance of hierarchy and consistency in reporting behavior between SmartView and OTBI

I noticed from the query log that there is an explicit condition which limits the hierarchy version based on current date which if removed can rectify this issue
