Analysis Reports should open on the prompt page when opening from Favorites

Organization Name
ARCTIC SLOPE REGIONAL CORPORATION
Description
When selecting an Analysis from the Favorites drop down it opens in Edit mode on the Results tab. We would like it to open as if the user selected Open from the catalog entry.
Use Case and Business Need
When opening in results tab no parameters have been selected but the analysis is running, Most users then exit the window by going back to the home page and can then select the analysis from the recent reports which opens to the prompts page were they can select the parameters they want to run the report for. This is extra navigation for something that should be straight forward since most users want to run the analysis not edit when selecting the report.

We need this functionality. When OTBI reports are added as favorites in the cloud application, the user should be able to run the prompts.

If the user adds it as a favorite and runs it from reports and analytics, it does not prompt her and ends up failing becuase it has too many records. Then when the user goes to Browse Catalog and tries to run the favorite it opens it in Edit mode instead of run. So, in this case, favorites are not working at all when prompt are required. What a mess.

It is INSANE that a user cannot add an OTBI report to Favorites and run it. This should be considered a bug and not an issue for the Idea Lab. PLEASE FIX!!

Agree that this should be considered a bug. How is the inability to open an OTBI report that has page prompts considered standard behavior? Please fix this.

Needed for our purposes. make no sense the prompts are ignored if the report is run from favorites.
Is there a solution?

required for our clients as well - clients usually access the report from favorites screen. Favorite reports functionality becomes not usable without prompts working properly

I thought something was broken. This should be a standard feature to run a report from favorites with parameters.

Any report with parameters should prompt the user — why would favoriting it remove that basic functionality. Huge miss here.
