Description (Required): For now, when create OTBI report need join data cross subject areas, the join type is inner join, and it's not allow user to change the join type. That means if one of subject area records not sufficient, the final result would missing records.

Use Case and Business Need (Required): In our sales performance report which based on target and credit 2 subject areas, to obtain sales target monthly completion rate percentage we need use sales credit to divide sales target. The problem is, for those participants who are no credits, the entire participants would be ignored in report, as system use more like inner join when link target with credits subject areas.

Enhancement Request / Service Request: Allow user to manage join type, left /right join, etc. for reports need join data from different subject areas.

Don't know if this applies to your problem, but sometimes things can be resolved by switching which subject area you choose first....

But I would also be very interested in being able to choose which fact-column to join the subject areas on...

We are encountering multiple instances where the results are missing records due to the need for a left or right join between subject areas. It would be beneficial to have the ability to control the type of join being used.
