Hi,

I need to deliver an AR Invoice for the client, where the client requires some parameters in the seeded print receivables reports. These parameters are not there in the seeded report and we would have to add them.

Is it possible to achieve this in any way?

    Is this BIP report?

Please customize it first and if you have the datamodel then you can add the parameters.

    Hi,

I think you refer to business process

04 Order Fulfillment 03 Bill Customers 05 Present Bill

Oracle Fusion Business Process Models: 04 Order Fulfillment (Doc ID 1578139.1)

    For more information see

    Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials

    Using Receivables Credit to Cash

    Manage Customer Billing

    Present Billing

    Print Transactions

    https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/financials/23b/faofc/print-receivables-transactions.html#s20049186

These reports in OTBI use data model

    /Financials/Receivables/Bill Presentment/Transactions Print Data Model

with report templates for each type of transaction including but not limited to "Invoice Print Template", "Credit Memo Print Template", "Debit Memo Print Template" etc.

So the data model for these reports has 18 parameters QUERY_MODE, P_MAX, P_MIN etc.

You can off course do a custom version of one or more of these reports with a custom data model in the custom folder. And add any parameters you like.

But this report does not tend to be run as a report like may others from tool work area Scheduled Processes. You can for example view is using button "View Image" on pages like task Manage Transactions in work area Billing in Receivables. So how to you get the user/system to pass a value into it at tuntime for your parameter?

So yes you can add a parameter in a custom version of the data model for a custom version of one or more of these reports. But how will you get your users to pass a value to it at runtime? This report tend not to be run like many others from tools shceduled processes. Rather you run it from work area. For example, button "View Image" on page Manage Transactions in work area Billing in Receivables.

    Hi Ravikiran/Nathan,

Thanks for answering. Yes, we can add parameters to the data model by customizing it, but we can't add parameters to the ESS Job that runs this report, as you mentioned. That's my concern.

Are there any ways to add parameters to the ESS job, so that we get the inputs at run-time?

    Thanks!
