In BI Publisher how to call two excel template using sub-template method

In BI Publisher, we have requirement to print 15 column in one layout and 27 column in another layout.

Layout one with 15 column will be selected once user select option 1 from drop down

Layout two with 27 column will be selected once user select option 2 from drop down

we have created two excel templates but need help calling these two sub-template from main template which will check for option dropdown selection.

can anyone please help with the steps to achieve this requirement.

Note : RTF template is not helpful as with font size 10 printing 27 column is not feasible.
