How to show blank columns that fall outside filter range

I'm trying to write a report to show employee information from 3 sub groups inside "Workforce Profiles - Person Profile Real Time". The 3 sections are Potential, Performance Ratings, and Talent Score. Each section has their own To and From date fields which I created a prompt to filter on. The problem I'm having is that since data doesn't always exist for each of the 3 sections for every year, it fails to display any data if not all 3 sections find a match with the specified date.
With SQL I would simply create 3 separate data sets and outer join them to my employee info to solve this. Ones that don't exist would display as blank columns. Is there an alternative solution in OTBI I can use to accomplish this?
