Customizing and saving filters on OOB/OAC reports
For Pre-Built reporting, there should be a way we can save our customizations on the Shared Folders >Oracle >Fusion ERP without saving it to another directory. There should be a feature that the Administrator can save modifications and also reset the workbook if users would want to eliminate filters if business needed.
The justification for this change is to give users relevant data they may find beneficiary off the cuff without toggling and taking more time for data preparation/manipulation.

I agree that this functionality would streamline the setup and maintenance of workbooks across multiple user groups.

Factory content will likely remain read-only, but a new personalization feature allows users to not need to redo filters across sessions.

Hi David, I do not see this personalization feature in the system settings module. Not sure if that's an option anymore since the video you sent is more than half a year old.

Hi John! Back when that video was published, that feature was in "Preview" mode, which is why the video directs you to the Preview area in Settings. This feature has since been pushed to General Availability in Jan 2024, so all workbooks by default should have personalization turned on.
If a workbook author does not want this functionality in their workbook, they can go to the Present area of the workbook and turn it off.Alternatively, if a system administrator does not want this functionality in their overall instance, they can go and turn it off by going into the System Settings (as of the March 2024 update) via the OAC Console. FDI (formerly known as FAW) administrators can request access to this console via SR if they do not have access already.

There is a system settings section in FDI's console, the system settings section in OAC (under FAW) cannot be accessed (even if one submits a SR, I believe), unless it is a standalone OAC instance. See screen shot from FDI documentation about the system settings section in OAC's console:
