Using Aliases in a Parameter List of a Browser Script

In OBIEE, I can refer to an alias when creating an action link to Navigate to a Web Page. I simply use this syntax as "@[aliasName]" in the URL text box.
I have another action link where I need to Invoke a Browser Script. Can I, in the parameter list, refer to an alias in the Value column? I tried the same syntax as above, but it's not working. Is there another way I can get this to work?
Thanks!
