To create a BI report for Import Journal Execution Report

Hi Team,

We received a requirement to trigger a mail notification to the customer mail ID with the job status & its execution report. The job was 'Import Journals: Child'. In production, the customer has made configurations where jobs are scheduled and triggered in batches by a separate team called ESP. When this team triggers 'Post Sub ledger Journal entries' job, it starts to run with some child process i.e., 'Post Sub ledger Journal entries: Subprocess', 'Import Journals: Child' & 'Post Journals for Single Ledger'. When we tried to manually run this process in lower instance, this set up was not available.

The challenge that we are facing is, like other execution reports we do not find the report in OTBI catalog to schedule it. The execution report is a .txt file which contains the execution details.  To send this output through mail is not possible. We raised an Oracle SR to address this and found that an Enhancement Request needs to be raised to solve this requirement.
