BIP Dynamic Output filename to email destination

Hello all,
Is there a way of having a dynamic output filename for scheduled BIP reports going to an email destination?
I have managed to do this using a bursting definition, however bursting does not support filetype xlsx.
I have tried to_char(sysdate,'YYYYMMDD'), %y%m%d etc, but not had any luck - is there some secret syntax/tips anyone has? or is this not possible?
Many thanks,
Ian

Verified the Product features, We don't have any option for Email delivery to change the report output with customer format like Date embedding . But you can able to customize file name using other destination types like FTP..etc.
I hope i have answered your question.

Arjun

@Ian.Gooderham were you able to find a solution to this in Fusion BI Publisher? We would like to setup a dynamic filename with the current date to be output to FTP server. I know we can achieve this using a Bursting query defined in the Data Model, but I was wondering whether we can also accomplish this directly in the Scheduler.

Hi KDR,
Yes, it is possible to embedded date timestamp in file name when transferring the file to SFTP but not possible when delivering the file to email.
You can check the details on below link:
Dynamic Output and Bursting for BI Report
Thanks.
