Unable to get value from variable after the tag <?start@last-page-first:body?><?end body?> in RTF

I have developed custom PO RTF template where i am having qty, price & extended_amt (qty * price) under line group so i am using variable inside the group to get the total extended_amt which is working fine before this tag but as i have a requirement to display particular section at the bottom of the last page in the template so using this tag not letting me use variable in that section
