DAC 7.7.1 to DAC 10.1.3.4.1 Upgrade

Hello ,

We have to upgrade DAC 7.7.1 to DAC 10.1.3.4.1 in our project.

As per some documents, we found out that the path to be followed is DAC 771 - 784 - 10.1.3.4.1

However we are not getting DAC 784 installables. Also the process is not clear for this upgrade.

The second approach we thought is manually configuring the tasks and execution plans ( customaizations) in DAC 10g by looking at DAC 771 objects. The second approach is long & tedious. Thiis apporach is also mentioned in the upgrade document (manually moving the customizations)

However, we had some questions on the 2nd approach as well.

1. In DAC 771 there are Table groups while in DAC 10g there are tasks groups. Are they same ? if not, what is the difference ? How to migrate these table groups as task groups.

2. How to migrate the refresh dates from old dac to new dac ?

Please advice on this.

What module you are using? Is your source system also got upgraded or you just want to go with DAC software upgrade irrespective of App modules?
