Drop ODI COPY$ tables after data load completion

Question

Hi,

In ODI, during the data load it creates COPY$ tables in Oracle DB. In some cases, we get lot of copy$ tables getting created in DB and those are occupying more DB space.

We would like to know if any of the ODI built in feature is available to drop the COPY$ tables.

Ex: COPY$768398_BAD, COPY$768399_LOG.

Are you asking about ODI as part of a BI Apps usage? Or purely ODI standalone?

The first would be covered by this forum, just a different category, and your question can be moved there.

The second would need to go in a different forum, because ODI isn't part of the Oracle Analytics products.

Your idea is kind in the same situation: if you are using standalone ODI, then posting the idea in the Oracle Analytics forum will not go anywhere (and that's why it was archived as "Idea not related to OAC/OAS.").

However, as a workaround you can try creating a simple procedure as below and run it as per your requirement post ETL.
