High Level FAW Solution Questions

1. Would you recommend Extending (Data Augmentation and Semantic Layer Extension) to include along with Fusion source data and include SAP financials data for all the financial modules in FAW. I understand this will be a huge undertaking.
2. Are there any client references that have taken up similar customizations/extensions.
3. Keeping in mind “Single source of truth” , Is there a way I can tap into FAW Semantic Layer using PowerBI so end users can consume the data from FAW.

Addl note: I understand PowerBI Desktop can connect , but the question is with respect to the PowerBI Service (saas product)

Keeping in mind “Single source of truth” , Is there a way I can tap into FAW Semantic Layer using PowerBI so end users can consume the data from FAW.

You can tap into the database tables and hook up PowerBI directly to ADW. If you need to model data you can first build it in OAC then take the generated sql and turn it into a view…or just reference the tables directly. Also consider replicating ADW data to another database like sql server.
