Bypass all data security roles without Service Admin?

We would like to have some dev users without data security too see all available data without assigning service admin to them.

As of now, the options are:

• Remove the mapping of data security roles, we would prefer not to go this way to preserve the default mapping
• Create custom data security with 1=1 as condition to override custom roles, however this would require a role for each functional group filter. This step is high effort and we dont even have a document with the existing functional groups.

What would be the best way to achieve this?

How is servic admin able to bypass all data roles? I was hoping there is a way to have this mechanism only , without granting the rest of service admin permissions.

Hello Victor.

It is unclear what Fusion Analytics application you are using. ERP? HCM?
Data security may be implemented differently in each.

Security Assignments may work for you. They are configured by user for a given context (Ledgers, Business Units, etc.)

Allowing a user to see all data may be accomplished by selecting all the choices for a given context. For example, selecting all available ledgers for a specific user.

There are usually not many contexts in each application. And possibly, just one of them may be sufficient.

ERP HCM and SCM.

For ERP we could bulk/manually assign the BUs but we found cases where the BU is empty. service admins were getting different totals than users with al BUs because these requisitions with empty procruement BU.

What we are looking for is a bypass mechanism similar to service admin but without actually giving service admin
