Create Branch option not available in DEV instance (Semantic Model Extensions page)

Hi,

I am not able to find the create branch option in the Semantic Model Extensions page, so Main branch cannot be edited. There is only the Create Sandbox option. Is this the expected behavior for the latest release (24.R2)?

PS: please be aware that language is Br Portuguese.

New Instance provisioned with version 24.R2 will by default have the Sandbox SME framework with enhanced SME capabilities. Please refer to documentation:

So this is expected.

Thanks @Subha_Tripathy-Oracle - I searched for release notes indicating that branch option was deprecated but could not find more details. I will work with the Sandbox SME framework now.

Please note : - In case you are promoting any customization from Branch framework to Sandbox framework, it will fail with framework mismatch or version mismatch error. please log a low severity SR to change Sandbox to Branch framework for the new instance to continue migrating your customization from non-prod to prod .

We are facing similar situation where we have Branch SME in DEV and SIT but Sandbox in UAT so we are unable to migrate any SME so we got solution we need to switch our UAT to Branch SME using Oracle SR.
