The Configurable Account analysis feature cannot be migrated with bundles or promote option between environments.

Having to manually reconfigure this subject area on each environment is time consuming and error prone.

  • Hi Victor

Thanks for using idea labs to post your query.

You should be able to use content bundles feature to migrate Configurable Account Analysis (CAA) template. This feature has been available since 24.R2 release

    thanks @Sushil Dhoot-Oracle

Then this is a documentation issue. The CAA FAQ states that:

Can I use the Bundles functionality to migrate the CAA artifacts?
No, you can't use the Bundles functionality to migrate the CAA artifacts currently. You must set up the CAA template manually.

  • Thank you Victor. We will review this internally.

Could you please reopen this enhancement request?

We just found out content bundles cannot actually migrate CAA configurations.

  • Hi Victor

Bundles for CAA template migration is a supported functionality and I have reviewed the SR details as well.

Following things needs to be ensured for the bundles to work for CAA,

    a. CAA feature needs to be activated from the manage features page in FDI console

    b. All the functional areas enabled in source environment needs to be active in the target environment.

    c. Source and target environment needs to be on the same version.

If the above pre-reqs are in place, I would recommend you to retry deploying the bundle. In case, if the issue persists, pls share the details of bundle deployment status along with error that you see, if any. We can get it reviewed internally with the dev team based on that if there is a bug.

    Thanks
