Log file modification when we submit the Custom BIP ESS job

Hi Team,

Is it possible to modify the log file generated by the custom BIP ESS job.

Actual requirement is, when user submitted the custom bip ESS job from schedule process window,if ESS job went on error due to some issues in the report level,business wants a meaningful messages instead of system generated log information.

Please help on this.

Hello Manoj,

This is a good enhancement request. In the meantime, BI Publisher provides detailed logger when the Diagnostic tab is used during the report schedule.

Thanks for the response.

In our requirement sometimes user is submitting the report in adhoc basis,in this case how we are going to handle.
