How to restrict the data access for different users on BIP reports

We developed some custom BIP reports in our system, and by default, BI consumer role is taking the read access, thus, most of our users who have the BI consumer role will have the access to all those custom BIP reports.
For example, procurement user could see the sales order reports, and also could search the data, I'm thinking is there a way to prevent the procurement user to search the so data from BIP data model, then it's no matter even though user could see the report, but no data in it.
