The data hierarchies are ordered alphanumerically by code values in ERP. Recently the reorder function was improved in ERP & EPM (from EDMCS) to allow these to be reordered. Our intent was to use this to standardize & automate the financial statement views of our dashboards - thereby improving governance and decreasing maintenance. All changes to the financial statement contents and order will be governed through the EDMCS system and circulated for approvals to the necessary parties.
Though this functionality works in both ERP & EPM modules, the reorder attribute is not currently captured in the ERP to FDI feed.
The addition of this functionality would significantly improve our ability to automate and standardize "one version of the truth" across our dashboards.
