FDI - Span of Control Dashboard - Inactive Managers appearing

Hello.

We are new to FDI, and are puzzled by one of the delivered Dashboards. The Span of Control dashboard (Workforce folder) has a "Span of Control by Job Function and Manager Name" graphic. In our production environment, a manager (under Person Name 1 column) appears with a "Span of Control" = 4.00. We have not modified the delivered dashboard in any way. The question is, this manager has not worked for the company in many years and is inactive in HCM. The dashboard appears to have a built-in filter for current quarter data only. Is there an explanation as to why an inactive manager would appear in a Span of Control dashboard?

Thank you

    Hi @Rich R,

You may need to log a SR for a question like this since its HR related and we could not get a lot of required data on an individual ex-employee here in the community. In general, you could check to see if the status of this employee was 'fixed' in HCM at some point with an updated status well after the fact. If this was the case, a refresh of the functional area would help. You could compare termination date and effective date in HCM.

The Span of Control Dashboard will include historical information. For details see the documentation here:

    Regards,
