Performance when extracting journal entries

Question

I am having trouble with poor performance when extracting GL journal entries.

The number of journal entries is about 5 million per month and it takes a long time to output reports from BI Publisher due to the data volume.

If you have any examples of how you solved the problem of poor performance caused by the data volume of journal entries, please share them with us.
